CGI flythrough animations that
bring your development to life

Still images sell a moment. Animation sells the experience. We produce external CGI flythroughs that showcase your site layout,
levels, landscaping and key arrival views, alongside interior walkthroughs that highlight space, flow and finish.

Built from your drawings and approved CGI assets, we craft a camera route that reveals the development in the right order. Once the route, pacing
and key viewpoints are signed off, we refine lighting and grading so the animation feels consistent with the rest of your visuals.

Typical FAQs

Some common questions asked about flythrough animations for new build property marketing

What is a CGI flythrough animation?

A CGI flythrough animation is a rendered property marketing video that shows a development before it’s built. It can be an external flythrough animation showing streets, plots, landscaping and arrival views, or an internal flythrough showing the layout and flow through the home. It’s also commonly called an architectural animation or 3D walkthrough.

What information do you need to produce external and internal flythrough animations?

The most effective approach is to produce the animation once the still CGI imagery has been signed off. When house types, materials, landscaping or internal finishes are already approved, we can reuse the same assets making the process straight forward and cost effective.

What’s the difference between an external flythrough and an internal flythrough animation?

An external 3D flythrough presents the wider scheme, highlighting the streetscape, plot arrangement, access roads, parking, gradients and levels, landscaping, and neighbouring plots. An internal 3D flythrough brings the home to life, showing how each room connects, the quality of natural light, material finishes, and standout spaces like the kitchen, lounge, and main bedroom. For many UK housebuilders and residential developers, using both creates a complete sales story: the place and the property.

What other terms are used for CGI flythrough animations?

CGI flythrough animations are often called different names, and many of these terms are used interchangeably depending on whether the video is external or internal. Common search terms include architectural animation, 3D walkthrough, CGI walkthrough animation, internal walkthrough, external flythrough, CGI flyover, 3D property animation, and architectural visualisation animation (arch vis animation).

How do approvals and revisions work for an animation?

We start with a draft camera path preview so you can approve the route, pacing and key moments before final rendering. Once the camera is locked, we then proceed with rendering and post production for a speedy delivery. Check out out ‘Our Process’ page – here we talk about our super easy feedback system we share with our clients!

Can you create one flythrough animation and cut it into shorter videos for social media?

Yes. We can produce a single master CGI flythrough and then supply multiple shorter edits for different channels. This typically includes a main website version, plus shorter cutdowns for LinkedIn, Instagram, and paid ads. Repurposing the same animation this way keeps costs down, keeps branding consistent, and helps you get more marketing mileage from one production.

How long should a CGI flythrough animation be for property marketing?

Most flythrough animations perform best at 30 to 90 seconds for websites, sales suites and social media. If you need both external and internal sequences, two shorter edits usually work better than one long video, because attention drops fast and long videos get skipped.

What is rendering in CGI animation?

Rendering is the process of turning a 3D scene into the final images or video frames you actually see. For a CGI flythrough animation, the computer calculates lighting, shadows, reflections, materials, and effects for every frame, then outputs the finished sequence as a video.
