How we work
– 1 –
We Start with the Right Information
Once we receive all the necessary files to get started on your CGIs or animations, we can start work on modelling & detailing with confidence. That means correct levels, materials, landscaping, boundary treatments, & any key design notes are captured early, making the review process far easier for your technical & design teams.

First Draft: Clay Renders
Every CGI starts with a draft visual or commonly referred to as a clay render. This is where you get to review the proposed camera angle, lighting and overall architecture is correct. Once approved, we move into full materials, lighting, and final polish, which keeps revisions to a minimum and approvals faster.

Easy Feedback & Reviewing for the Whole Team
To keep feedback clear and concise, we provide a private online review link alongside your CGI files, so your team can leave comments and markups in one place. It’s a super simple tool that our clients love, because it avoids long email threads and makes it clear exactly what needs changing.
It’s ideal when the visuals need input from technical, interiors, and landscaping teams, because everyone can review the same version in one place. And if you prefer to send comments by email or return annotated images instead, that’s absolutely fine too.

Revisions, Quality Control, and Amends
Once we receive your comments, we action the amendments and run our thorough internal quality control checks. This is where we carefully review the details, alignment, materials, lighting consistency, and accuracy to the drawings.
Once everything has been checked and signed off internally, we send the revised CGIs back to you for review, along with an updated private link so your team can comment again if needed

Final delivery, ready for every channel
Once approved, we deliver final files in the formats and resolutions that suit your use: websites, brochures, portals, press, and large format print. If you need multiple crops or versions for different platforms, we’ll package those up too.
Typical FAQs
Answers to the most asked questions about street scene CGI renders for new build property marketing
What information would you need from us?
What we need varies depending on the type of CGIs or property marketing assets you require, but it typically includes the latest drawings plus key reference information such as levels, material schedules, mood boards, landscaping drawings, boundary treatments, FF&E and any design notes you may have. We also have clear, bespoke checklists we can share with your team depending on the brief, so the right information is captured from the start.
How does your CGI feedback and approvals process work?
Our CGI feedback and approvals process is built to keep sign off fast and remove the usual back and forth. We issue the first render with a private online review link so you and your team can leave as many comments, annotations, and reference notes as needed, all in one place. There’s no sign up required, and every comment is clearly named and date stamped, making it easy to see who flagged what and when, whether it came from technical, design, interiors, or landscaping.
Because everyone reviews the same version, it avoids conflicting feedback across email threads and stops outdated files being marked up. Once comments are in, we action the amends, run internal quality control, then re issue the updated CGI with a fresh link for the next review cycle.
How do you manage quality control?
Our quality control process is designed to protect accuracy and consistency before anything comes back to you. After amends are applied, the visuals are reviewed by a secondary internal team, separate from the core team that produced the CGI. We’ve found this is the strongest way to catch small issues early and maintain a consistent standard, checking against drawings and specification, then verifying alignment, modelling detail, materials, lighting consistency, and overall realism across the full set of visuals.
Can you recommend the best camera angles for our CGIs?
Yes. If you’re not certain which shots to go for, we can recommend the most effective camera angles and viewpoints to ensure each CGI has a strong, captivating composition.
Why do you create grey renders?
Once the bulk of the modelling work is complete, we share the clay renders (grey drafts) with you to confirm the architecture is correct and to lock in the camera angle before the next stage of production which mainly consists of materials, lighting, and final polish. This early checkpoint reduces rework, keeps revisions to a minimum, and speeds up approvals. Clay renders are also commonly referred to as drafts, grey renders, white models, draft renders, or blockout previews.
Do we have to use your online markup and review tool?
Not at all. Our online review link is simply the easiest way to keep comments clear and in one place, but if your team prefers email feedback or sending back annotated images or PDFs, that’s absolutely fine. We’ll work around whatever process you’re comfortable with and still keep the feedback organised and easy to action.
What file formats do you supply for final CGI delivery?
At final CGI sign off, we deliver marketing ready files in whichever preferred format you require. If you need multiple crops or platform specific versions, we can absolutely supply those as part of final delivery.
What happens if drawings or specification change mid production?
Totally normal. Drawings and specifications change all the time in this industry, and we’re set up for it. If updates come in mid production, we will review the extent of the changes and action them. Minor tweaks can usually be handled within the normal amends process.
